JAIPUR — The Rajasthan police have busted a massive porn MMS racket operating from a city's upmarket shopping mall. The police raided Ganpati Plaza on Thursday night and arrested eight mobile phone dealers on charges of recording, formatting and supplying porn MMS clippings to customers.

The police said the MMS included morphed porn video chippings of famous actresses and some locally produced porn films featuring Jaipur college students. They recovered morphed clippings of actresses like Bipasha Basu, Preity Zinta, Kareena Kapoor and tennis star Sania Mirza from hard disks of computers seized in the raid.

The arrests were made under the recently enacted Rajasthan Cyber Crime Act. The police said the haul of the multi-media clippings was massive and ran into thousands. They were alerted after getting complaints from some women mobile phone users of receiving unsolicited porn and obscene MMS clippings.

The police said the accused were formatting porn movies to suit the mobile phone users and they suspect that some of them featuring city college students were shot and processed locally. The clippings were being sold for between Rs150 and Rs200 but video featuring film stars and Sania Mirza fetched Rs500 per clipping.
