Daily Mirror, 10/31/05 - A Porn supplier has been fined £4,000 by magistrates after supplying a sex video that was NOT explicit enough for the viewer.

A disgruntled woman complained after hard-core scenes pictured on the covers of three videos she bought did not appear in the actual films as they had been censored out.

Surrey County Council said: "The company had not shown any interest in the consumer's complaint, so the purchaser turned to Trading Standards."

Pabo Ltd was fined £4,000 at Dorking magistrates for false description and £10,500 for selling porn films by mail order.

They were also ordered to pay £75 compensation plus £2,044 costs.

Peter Denard of Trading Standards said: "Consumers are often embarrassed to complain about purchases such as these and companies take advantage of them."
