 Taylor Wane was born on August 27, 1968 in Newcastle, England. She is also known as
Taylor Wayne, Joanna, Joanna G, Fayrin Heitz and Farran Heights.
Wane had childhood aspirations of becoming a schoolteacher. With her mother's encouragement, she entered a modeling contest while in secretarial college; she won, inspiring her to undertake modeling as a career. She currently (2005) runs her own production company, fittingly called Taylor Wane Entertainment. Wane has also appeared in music videos for artists such as Danzig, Game Related, and Gene Simmons. Additionally, she appeared on an album cover for musical group The Nobodys; the album also contained a song (called "Perfect") that the band reportedly wrote about her. In 2003 she appeared as a dancer on Kid Rock's "American Bad Ass" tour. Her favored pseudonym is an apparent reference to Taylor Dayne, a pop artist who had several hit songs in the 1980s and 1990s. Another one of Wane's stage names, Farran Heights, is a pun on Fahrenheit. Wane became a model and began appearing in adult magazines in 1989. She was the June 1994 Penthouse Pet in Penthouse and also appeared in the UK version of the magazine. For five years, she was a resident columnist for Swank magazine. Wane has also written for LIPS magazine and Erotic Film Guide. She has been written articles or provided interviews which have been published in British tabloids and women's magazines such as The Independent, The Daily Sport, Best, The Sun, The Star and The News of the World.
