Taylor Hayes was born Tara Ellyn Smith on January 14, 1975 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
In 1994, Taylor was named a Penthouse Pet. One year later, she moved to Los Angeles and began working for adult studio VCA Pictures. Vivid Entertainment signed Hayes to an exclusive contract in 1997. She retired from porn movies in 2002. That same year, AVN Magazine placed her in their List of Top 50 Porn Stars of All Time.
