Lene Hefner was born Jill Hefner on 8 November 1965 in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Before doing porn movies, Hefner worked as a Raiderette (a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Raiders football team). She capitalized on her cheerleading career by posing nude for men's magazines including Playboy and Penthouse. After meeting Amber Lynn at an AIDS benefit in the early 1990s, Hefner began considering a career in adult film; she appeared in her first movie in 1993 and soon signed a contract with Vivid Entertainment. Her family, conservative Southern Baptists, severed all ties with her when they learned of her porn career.
