American Civil Liberties Union "We work daily in courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States."  "The First Amendment exists precisely to protect the most offensive and controversial speech from government suppression."

American Library Association Censorship & First Amendment issues. The ALA is the oldest and largest library association in the world with over 64,000 members.

Eros Association Represents business members from all areas of the Australian adult industry. "The aim of the Foundation is to encourage a heightened understanding of the adult industry and to promote the rights of those working in and around the adult industry."

The Free Expression Network The FEN is an alliance of organizations dedicated to protecting the First Amendment right of free expression and the values it represents, and to opposing governmental efforts to suppress constitutionally protected speech.

Free Speech Coalition The FSC is a trade association of the adult entertainment industry. "Its mission is to safeguard the industry from oppressive governmental regulation and to promote good business practices within the industry."

Libertarian Party "Libertarians believe that you have the right to live your life as you wish, without the government interfering -- as long as you donít violate the rights of others. Politically, this means Libertarians favor rolling back the size and cost of government, and eliminating laws that stifle the economy and control peopleís personal choices." The Media Coalition An association that defends the First Amendment right to produce and sell books, magazines, movies, recordings, videotapes and videogames, and defends the American public's First Amendment right to have access to the broadest possible range of opinion and entertainment. Founded in 1973.

National Coalition Against Censorship "The National Coalition Against Censorship (NCAC) is an alliance of 50 national non-profit organizations, including literary, artistic, religious, educational, professional, labor, and civil liberties groups. United by a conviction that freedom of thought, inquiry, and expression must be defended, we work to educate our own members and the public at large about the dangers of censorship and how to oppose them."
